Only approved service providers may be used for events at Heart's Content, please review the list.

Reservations - Deposits - Cancellations
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve Heart's Content for your event and is due upon booking the date, and will be applied toward the rental fee. 30 days before the event the balance is due and non-refundable, along with a $500.00 damage deposit, which will be refunded one week after the event if there are no reasons to draw upon it. If any damages or theft occurs you will be responsible for the entire amount even if it exceeds the $500.00.

Day of the event setup and cleanup policy:
Access to Heart's Content is limited to 2 hours before your event for setup, and 1 hour after the event for cleanup. You are responsible for the clean up of your decorations-etc. Please no confetti or glitter, birdseed or rice thrown or used for decorations. You may use bubbles for blowing at the bride & groom as they leave. All events must end by 9pm and all clean-up must be completed by 10pm.

Alcohol/Smoking Policy:
You may supply your own alcohol. We reserve the right to end alcohol service and/or the event at any time if for any reason we feel that the behavior or alcohol consumption are getting out of control.
Smoking is allowed outside only. Please use ashtrays.

Music:
Music including DJ's are allowed so long as they cannot be heard beyond the bounds of our property. If you choose an evening wedding your music must stop by 9pm.

Other:
Parents are asked to keep their children out of the gardens and water areas (ponds, waterfalls, and fountains etc.) We appreciate this very much!

The first floor bedroom and the entire 2nd floor is not open to the public as it is reserved for overnight guests only.

Liability:
Renters must read & sign.
The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Heart's Content LLC, its owners, employees and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, losses, actions and liabilities including injury to persons or damage to property, including but not limited to those caused by any service, food or alcohol provider and/or their products, hired or obtained by the renter; except for such claims, demands,losses, actions or liabilities that arise out of negligence or willful misconduct by said owners, employees or affiliates. Heart's Content and its staff will also not be held responsible for lost, stolen or forgotten articles.
