The 5 W's of Weddings
Who we are - Heart's Content is a
lovely Georgian Revival mansion with manicured gardens, circa
1903. This elegant manor has been the perfect romantic setting
for weddings and events for over 100 years.
What we offer - A wonderful
location for ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers,
and honeymoon/wedding night stays. Our services include bridal consulting, and all inclusive wedding packages.
Where - Heart's Content is located
in the National Historic District of Canton, MS. 20 minutes from
Jackson and 35 minutes from the Jackson airport.
When - Heart's Content is available
for wedding and events year round. We recommend booking your
event as soon as possible to reserve your preferred date.
Why - Simplicity and
affordability. The elegance and charm of Heart's Content will
make your wedding memorable and unique. Our all inclusive
packages take the guess work out of your wedding planning. We can
coordinate the catering, wedding cakes, flowers, rentals, and
music. We can offer wedding coordinator services for the "day of"
too.
The property may be rented for evening receptions, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, etc.
You will have use of the two parlors, dining room, sun porch, Viking equipped catering kitchen, wrap around porch
and gardens. The overnight rooms are not included. The hours of availability are 3:00 pm until 11:00 pm. A $500 refundable
damage deposit is required. A non-refundable $400 deposit is required to reserve the date. Maximum Capacity 250.
Wedding ceremonies or receptions $1200.00 and up.
Afternoon Teas and Showers $250.00 and up.
Additional Services:
Catering: Only licensed, approved caterers are
allowed. Please call for list. Our liability insurer does not allow for
unlicensed food preparation, therefore only licensed, approved caterers
are allowed to provide food for events at Heart's Content.
20 X 30 tent with dance floor and DJ stage $1,200
Tables and chairs are priced based on no. of guests.
Live Ceremony Music $150 - $500
Depending on the # musicians
Live Reception Music $600 - $1,200
Depending on the genre and # musicians
Alcohol:
Alcohol is only allowed to be served by an approved caterer who is
licensed to sell alcohol. Heart's Content does not serve alcohol.
Noise Ordinance: Canton has a 10:30 pm noise
ordinance. All music must end at 10:30. Heart's Content is located in a
historic residential neighborhood and we intend to respect all
ordinances and laws.
